pdfnest (https://pdfnest.vip) is built to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what we handle, what we never collect, and the choices you have.
1. Summary
Your documents never leave your device. Every tool on this site — merging, splitting, converting, signing, redacting — runs locally in your browser. There are no accounts, no uploads and no file storage.
2. Files you process
When you open a file with any pdfnest tool, the file is read by your own browser and processed in memory on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party. When you close the tab, the working copy is gone.
The only exception is HTML to PDF: to render a web page we ask our server to fetch the URL you enter. We fetch the URL you type and nothing else — we do not receive, store or read the resulting file, which is assembled in your browser.
3. Data stored on your device
Session storage: signatures, stamps and text you create in the Sign PDF tool are cached in your browser's sessionStorage so you can reuse them while working. This data lives only in the current tab session and is deleted automatically when you close the tab.
Language preference: if you pick a display language, it is remembered in a small first-party cookie so the site opens in your language next time.
We use no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party cookies of any kind.
4. Information we collect
We do not require an account and do not ask for your name, email or payment details. We do not profile you and we do not sell or share data, because we do not collect any.
5. Children
The service is safe for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date.
